These custom chalkboard walls were designed and painted for North and South, building on existing elements of the restaurant’s branding. The cow, pig, fish, and chicken—already central to their identity—are paired with illustrations of the smoker, playful sayings, and small details that reinforce the restaurant’s character. The result is a cohesive, welcoming visual experience that signals to customers they are exactly where they should be.

One of my first clients, Capitol Tire and Service, commissioned hand-painted lettering displayed throughout their shop to highlight the company’s logo, mission statement, and core values for both employees and customers. The project brought a strong sense of identity into the space, and I even ended up being featured in their local commercial.
