Indoor and Outdoor Murals
Client: Midnight Coffee
Location: Iowa City, IA
Year: 2025
Designed for Midnight Coffee, located near the University of Iowa, this mural brings together elements that reflect both the brand and the surrounding community. The owners and I worked together to create a design that prominently features the Midnight Coffee logo alongside visual references to the coffee they serve—iced, hot, and martini-style—while also incorporating the University of Iowa hand icon and the Iowa Old Capitol Building, both iconic symbols for students and local residents. The mural was created to feel playful, recognizable, and rooted in place, adding character to the space while celebrating what makes Midnight Coffee unique.
Client: C.H. Robinson
Location: Green Bay, WI
Year: 2025
Located in the breakroom of C.H. Robinson’s Green Bay office, this mural features a warm color palette inspired by the bay and the sunsets visible from the office windows. Reflecting C.H. Robinson’s role as a transportation and logistics company, the design includes a plane, a semi-truck featuring the company logo, and the Algoma cargo ship, a vessel well known to the local community. The mural was created to bring a sense of place and warmth into the workspace while subtly highlighting the company’s industry and regional connections.
Client: Brandon Oaks Retirement and Nursing Home
Location: Roanoke, VA
Year: 2024
Created for the Serenity Garden at Brandon Oaks, this mural centers around the large oak tree that serves as the heart and icon of the facility. As the oak transitions through the seasons, the mural incorporates thoughtful quotes for residents to reflect on, along with small animals woven throughout the scene. This project was especially meaningful to me, as my grandfather lives at Brandon Oaks, and the mural was designed as a gentle reminder that life moves through seasons, each with its own beauty and purpose.
